Atttempts at Condo Greening

Reminiscing .... my first attempt at rose gardening in 2007 .... in the cramped confines of a condo unit, at that ... bought these three rose bushes for Nancy's 2007 birthday ...afterwards, placed them on the ledge...in an attempt to grow a little condo garden ...hey, I even had a kalamansi tree with flowers and fruits .... but then then we received a written memo for the housing administrator that it was 'bawal' to have plants on the window ledge ....Cruel!...

At last, the much awaited flowering of my stick plant, this September 2008 ... blooms only once a year and the perfume is released only at night , if I remember right ... I've had this very low maintenance plant for more than 30 years now ... the only one that survived my ungreen thumb, the vagaries of one-room rentals and transfers ...located currently at the ledge of the condo unit ...

My most recent attempt at small-scale,indoor,mobile, basket,follow-the-shaft-of-sunlight gardening, about two months ago ... the plants gave in after about two weeks ...

Birth of Earthlove ... In the Beginning

Today is a day of birthing . I'm setting up this blog as another wee voice for the preservation and care of Mother Nature/Mother Earth . I've been a closet and passive environmentalist for too long, time now to do something concrete , even if it's only setting up this blog initially ...
